Disability Access Donation Campaign – Help Us Reach $20,000

Why we're doing this

As Stokes Valley Football Club has grown, so too has our community of families, supporters, and members. Time and again, parents and grandparents have told us that while they love being part of game day, they cannot fully enjoy the experience because they cannot access our shared clubrooms. For those with mobility challenges, the simple act of watching their children or grandchildren play becomes a barrier rather than a joy.

We believe football — and sport more broadly — should be for everyone. Our shared clubrooms are the heart of our community, a place where friendships are built, teams are celebrated, and families come together. Without proper disability access, we are leaving valued members of our community on the sidelines.

In 2025, both Stokes Valley Football and Stokes Valley Cricket Clubs agreed that this had to change. Together, we committed to building proper disability access to our shared clubrooms. We have already completed much of the pre‑compliance work and are preparing to enter the building consent process in early–mid 2026.

This project is a priority for us as we continue to grow and support our members. It ensures that every parent, grandparent, supporter, and player can be part of the full club experience. It is about dignity, inclusion, and living up to our mantra: Football for All.

While we will be applying to grant funders to support this venture, grants are never guaranteed. That is why we are turning to our members, supporters, and wider community. Your donation is a gift that helps us open our doors to everyone.

Together, we can make our clubrooms a place where no one is left outside looking in.
