JUNIOR & YOUTH WINTER FOOTBALL INFORMATION & REGISTRATIONS
WELCOME
Do you have a child keen to play football this season for a fun, competitive, family friendly football club? Stokes Valley Junior Football club provides just that!
We want to take this opportunity to welcome back our families who have played in previous seasons and extend a warm welcome to any new families joining us (or thinking of joining us), thanks for choosing to play for Stokes Valley Junior Football Club for the 2024 winter season.
IMPORTANT DATES!
2024 SEASON DATES
The season kicks off 4th/5th May and finishes 31st August/1st September. There is no football the middle weekend of the school holiday's (13th/14th July).
GRADE ASSESSMENT DAYS (U9s - U15s)
In order to put our players into teams we need to see them all together. It is important that your child attends these sessions and to notify us if they cannot be there.
Monday 18th March AND Thursday 21st March
> U15 Mixed (born 2009 & 2010): 6pm - 7pm
Tuesday 26th March AND Tuesday 2nd April @ Holborn Park
> U9 Mixed (born 2015): 5.30pm - 6.15pm
> U11 Mixed (born 2013): 6.30pm - 7.30pm
> U12 Mixed (born 2012): 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Wednesday 27th March AND Wednesday 3rd April @ Holborn Park
> U10 Mixed (born 2014): 5.30pm - 6.30pm
> U9/10 Girls Only (born 2014 & 2015): 5.30pm - 6.30pm
> U11/12 Girls Only (born 2012 & 2013): 5.30pm - 6.30pm
> U13 Mixed (born 2011): 6.40pm - 7.20pm
U7 & U8 GRADE MUSTER - Saturday 6th April 8.30am - 9.30am
Both boys and girls born 2016 & 2017.
FIRST KICKS (born in 2018 - 2020) will start Friday 3rd May, 5pm - 6pm
GIRLS ONLY SESSION - HAVE A GO! Monday 25th March, 6pm - 7pm
Open to all current players, new players and girls wanting to come have a look!
UNIFORM
The club provides each player (U7 Grade & above) with a playing shirt & shorts which are to be returned at the end of the season.
First Kicks will be provided a First Kicks T-shirt and are to wear their own shorts/leggings they are comfortable in (preferably in black).
Every player MUST provide their own black football socks, shin pads and football boots. We do have some pre-loved boots in a range of sizes, so get in touch if you would like to have a look through.
IMPORTANT: The playing uniform is NOT to be worn outside of games (i.e to school) to help us keep it presentable for years to come
