JUNIOR FOOTBALL FAQ, INFORMATION AND REGISTRATIONS
2023 SEASON DATES
The season kicks off 29th/30th April and finishes 2nd/3rd September.There is no football the middle weekend of the school holiday's (8th/9th July).
GRADE ASSESSMENT DAYS (U9s - U17s)
In order to put our players into teams we need to see them all together. It is important that your child attends BOTH sessions and to notify us if they cannot be there.
Grade Assessment Days:
Sunday 26th March AND Sunday 2nd April
U9's, U10's Mixed & Girls Only - 9am - 9.45am
U11's & U12's Mixed - 10am - 10.45am
U13's, U15's & U17's Mixed - 11am - 12pm
U12's & U14's Girls Only - 12.15pm - 1.15pm
7th & 8th GRADE MUSTER EVENING
Wednesday 5th April 5.45pm - 6.30pm
For parents & players to attend.
UNIFORM
The club provides each player (7th Grade & above) with a playing shirt & shorts which are to be returned at the end of the season.
First Kicks will be provided a First Kicks T-shirt and are to wear their own shorts/leggings they are comfortable in (preferably in black).
Every player MUST provide their own black football socks, shin pads and football boots. We do have some pre-loved boots in a range of sizes, so get in touch if you would like to have a look through.
IMPORTANT: The playing uniform is NOT to be worn outside of games (i.e to school) to help us keep it presentable for years to come

GAME TRANSFERS & CANCELLATIONS
Capital Football aims to make any changes to fixtures due to ground availability by 6pm on a Friday or late cancellations on Saturday/Sunday mornings as close to 7am as possible. They will post any cancellations on their Facebook Page and then update fixtures on their website. Our process once notified is to inform our coaches who will in turn also notify their team of any changes.
