JUNIOR FOOTBALL FAQ, INFORMATION AND REGISTRATIONS
WHEN AND WHERE ARE GAMES PLAYED?
The season runs from April to the end of August.
Games are played on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings throughout the Hutt Valley (JPL/Promo grades play in the greater Wellington region) with most teams having mid-week training sessions. Home games are held at Delaney or Holborn Parks.
Full fixtures and results can be found here.
Specific info for different grades are as below.
DIFFERENT GRADES AND THEIR SPECIFIC GAME INFORMATION
First Kicks - is for our 4-6 years olds and will be played on Friday evenings. We may also combine with Wainui Club to play some friendly games through the season.
Fun Football - is our 7-8 year olds or 7th and 8th Grades and they will play their games together on Saturday mornings. Every third week will be a Fesitval day which means playing against another club (home or away). Then the cycle begins again. The game format will be 4x10 min games against 4 different teams each game day. See here for more information.
Mini Football - is our 9-10 year olds or 9th and 10th Grades. These grades will still play in the Hutt Valley leagues (like last season) except they will play 2x25 minute games (against two different teams) on a Saturday as opposed to playing 1x50minute games against one team.
